1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Perfect Chess Academy. By enrolling in our courses, accessing our website, or participating in our tournaments, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, parents/guardians of minor students, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Academy Rules & Attendance
To ensure a high-quality learning environment for all students, we strictly enforce the following rules:
- Punctuality: Students must join online sessions at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for progress. Please notify coaches at least 24 hours in advance if a class will be missed.
- Software: Students are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a working webcam/microphone for interactive lessons.
3. Payments, Fees & Refunds
We strive to be fair and transparent with our pricing.
Billing Policy
- Payment Processor: All payments are processed securely through Razorpay Payments Private Limited. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Fees: All tuition fees are paid in advance on a monthly or quarterly basis as selected during enrollment.
- Refunds: We offer a 100% money-back guarantee for the first 2 classes of any new enrollment. After that period, fees are non-refundable but may be credited towards future months in cases of medical emergencies. For full refund details, please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Disputes: For payment disputes or discrepancies, please email us at talktokp23@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
4. Intellectual Property
All training materials, including but not limited to videos, PGN files, study sheets, and curriculum frameworks provided by Perfect Chess Academy, are the exclusive property of the Academy.
You are granted a limited license to use these materials for personal learning only. Redistributing, selling, or sharing these materials publicly is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your enrollment without refund.
5. Student Code of Conduct
Chess is a gentleman's game, and we expect the highest standards of sportsmanship.
- Respect: Be respectful to coaches, opponents, and fellow students at all times.
- Fair Play: Using chess engines or outside assistance during rated practice games or academy tournaments is strictly forbidden (Cheating Policy).
- Environment: Bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
6. Limitation of Liability
Perfect Chess Academy provides training to improve chess skills but does not guarantee specific tournament results or FIDE rating increases, as these depend on individual student effort and aptitude. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
