1. Course & Coaching Refunds
We want every student to be fully satisfied with their learning experience at Perfect Chess Academy.
Refund Eligibility
- 100% Refund — First 2 Classes: If you are not satisfied after your first 2 classes of any new enrollment, you are entitled to a full refund of the fees paid, no questions asked.
- After 2 Classes: Fees are non-refundable. However, in cases of medical emergencies (with supporting documentation), fees may be credited towards future months of enrollment.
- Pro-Rata Refunds: We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partially attended months. Unused classes within a paid billing period cannot be refunded.
2. Tournament Registration Refunds
Tournament registrations are subject to the following refund terms:
- Before Pairings Are Published: Full refund of the registration fee if you withdraw before the tournament pairings are announced.
- After Pairings Are Published: Registration fees are non-refundable once pairings have been published, as your participation affects the tournament structure.
- Tournament Cancellation by Academy: If we cancel a tournament for any reason, all registered participants will receive a 100% refund within 5–7 business days.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

- Step 1: Send an email to talktokp23@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Step 2: Include your full name, registered email address, transaction ID or payment reference number, and reason for the refund.
- Step 3: Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days with a decision.
- Step 4: If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method.

4. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund is approved, the processing time depends on the original payment method:
- UPI / Wallets: 1–3 business days
- Net Banking: 3–5 business days
- Credit / Debit Cards: 5–10 business days (depending on your bank)
All refunds are processed through Razorpay Payments Private Limited, our payment gateway partner. Refunds are always credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Razorpay does not charge any processing fee for refunds.
If you have not received your refund within the timelines mentioned above, please contact us or check with your bank/card issuer.
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your enrollment or subscription at any time:
- Monthly Subscriptions: Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to all classes until your paid period ends.
- Quarterly Plans: Cancellations take effect at the end of the current quarter. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions.
- How to Cancel: Email talktokp23@gmail.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request" and include your registered email and reason for cancellation.
- Account Data: Upon cancellation, your account data is retained for 24 months in case you wish to rejoin. After that, it is permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion per our Privacy Policy.
