About This Tournament
The Bikaner District Championship is our flagship annual event, bringing together the strongest chess players from across the region. This FIDE-rated tournament features classical time controls (90 minutes + 30 seconds increment) across 7 rounds of intense competition.
Players will compete under standard FIDE rules with professional arbiters ensuring fair play. The tournament uses Swiss pairing system to ensure competitive matches throughout all rounds.

Tournament Rules & Regulations
General Rules
- All games follow FIDE Laws of Chess (latest edition)
- Players must arrive 15 minutes before scheduled round time
- Default time: 30 minutes after round start
- Arbiter's decisions are final and binding
- Proper chess etiquette must be maintained at all times
Prohibited Items & Behavior
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, or electronic devices in playing hall
- Leaving playing hall without arbiter permission during game
- Analysis or discussion of ongoing games
- Disturbing other players or creating noise
- Smoking, eating, or drinking near playing boards
Fair Play Policy
- Any form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification
- Players may be subject to random electronic device checks
- Games may be monitored by anti-cheating software
- Suspicious behavior will be investigated by chief arbiter
- Violations may result in ban from future tournaments
Time Management
- Time control: 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move
- Players must press clock button after each move
- Flag fall results in immediate loss (unless opponent cannot mate)
- Time-related disputes must be raised immediately
- Clocks may only be adjusted by arbiters
